i was in pain last night (i still am) i think i have eaten something that has given me mild food poisioning. my guts rumbled, i thought i was going to hurl and my head throbbed.
my guts didn't give forth in a biblical fashion.
the hurl stayed put.
the head didn't explode.
i drifted into and out of sleep.
the tv was showing a sidney lumet movie "q&a" - a police thriller as a district attorney tries to nail a dishonest cop. it stars nick nolte, it is grim none of the characters are nice. to be honest i wasn't paying that much attention as i moaned and groaned with the pain in my tum.
it also features the rather striking jenny lumet. at one point the da (timothy hutton)is questioning various people but can't help but throw a few love lorn glances at ms lumet (can't blame him).
one of the da's assisstants turns to him and encourages him to hook up with her. he uses the rather catchy line of:
"why should all the bad guys get all the good pussy."
it was a line and half and made better as it was delivered by luis guzman.
i am currently i am constipated. so i am not a happy man, last night it was like i was going to flood the place out and tonight i am bunged up.
i tell you my life is hard.
