photoshopped

i like gasometers. i like the industrial urban landscapes.
so i take photos of it. some have been featured on here.

i also like photography. a recent show at the rocket gallery of some ground breaking work by the danish photographer keld helmer-petersen was an inspiration.

a recent photograph i took wasn't particularly good (yeah yeah i know some of you think none of them are...) but it provided me with the material to try out something that helmer-peterson had done in his early works.

so via the magic of photoshop i took the bland image and i was going to do something similiar to helmer-petersen's very start black and whites. i didn't i ended up doing something that mixed his work with gilbert and george (who emma hates - but i think rather unfairly).

i like the result. hope you do to.

The World of Gilbert and George is the biggest load of bollocks I have EVER had to sit through.

The mist descended when I saw the words Gilbert and George. Forgot to say I like the photo!
