As Armando Iannucci pointed out on today's The Daily Politics (can you tell I have a week off work) it actually appears that Bush has even galvanised support in the Senate and House of Reps.

So in fact, it's pretty much all good news for George Walker Bush.

then i have had to put up with a friend of mine in the states (hi tammi!) tell me bush has the popular vote as well......

I think Kerry had to, another day would have been torment for all - especially as Kerry would've ended up losing anyhow.

The question now is...Hill or The Smiler as candidate in 2 years time?

And who the fudge are they gonna dig up for the Republicans...Jeb?

Patrick...he had the most votes ever as a candidate...AND the first since 1988 to have the popular vote and win. HMmm who was that in 1988..oh ya Bush Sr. huh....who knew! :-)
